The Every thing Tea
Tobias in Salt Lake -
Shred a decent portion of ginger root and boil it with water you can add mint leaves for taste however it is optional (do not replace boiling process with a microwave!!!) Strain the boiled ginger water, into a cup and add lemon juice, (juice your own fresh lemons). Add a little bit of apple cider vinegar and honey. I think it taste great and it works well on a sore throat, common cold, and upset stomach. If you drink this tea through out your sickness it eases the pain and your sickness will heal faster. Do not drink any thing that is cold but do not use microwave to warm things up. Stay away from milk and dairy products until your sickness is completely gone. Hope you enjoy this it works well for me and a lot of others I know.

Cold buster!
Deeter in USA -
At the first sign of a cold (sneezing, post nasal drip, cough) Take 3 echinachea caps,1 500 mg vitamin C, 1 odor free garlic tablet,1 zinc tablet, 1 beta carotene. Repeat every 4 hours, Do Not Miss Any Doses, continue this regimine even once you feel better( I do it for about 10 days). The cold/infection can regroup and take a turn for the worse if you miss doses. It should knock it out in a few days, if your immune system is healthy, otherwise, it may take alittle longer.

Ultimate cold remedy
Cory in Regina, Canada -
I don't know where I got this from, but it works! At the first sign of a cold, put one drop of clove oil under your tongue. I will warn you, it tastes like hell, but I haven't had a cold in years!
One thing though, the longer you wait to do this, the longer it takes to be effective

Sweet orange for cold
John Wong in San Jose, California, USA -
When you get a cold, eat 2 sweet oranges three times per day. That's a total of 6 oranges per day. I usually use sweet Texas oranges. If you live in San Francisco Bay area, you can get them from Marina Supermarket. Sometimes, it is available in Ranch 99 Supermarket. Make sure the orange is at room temperature and not from the refrigerator. If it is from the refrigerator, it would irritate the throat, especially when having a cough. After 3 days, you will feel much better. Continue this remedy 2 weeks after total recovery.
