Great Remedie for someone who cant sleep with toothaches

Nida in Beverlyhills, CA - good
Ok sot his is a east remedie done anywhre:
so gargle you moth with medium hot water for about 2 min and keep repeating until pain is at mild hurting temptation.
another one:I have been suffering with extreme toothache pain for the past two weeks or more and nothing was working for me not even the strongest of pain medications, well last night I tried something that a friend of mine suggested and boy did it ever work and I was able to have a decent night sleep.

Last night I was in agony from a bad tooth I have and my friend told me to try massaging my hand in the area of where my thumb and first finger form form a v shape so I did and I was amazed after massaging that area on the side of where the toothache pain was ... I massaged it for about 2 minutes and it took the pain away and it lasted for hours, I tried it again this morning when I awoke and the same thing, no more pain the whole morning. Thanks to my friends advice I am suffering from no more toothache but I still have my dentist appointment booked in 2 weeks time. The massing of that area has something to do with a pressure point and nerve endings ... I hope this is of some help to anyone who has a toothache although because it worked for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

THROBBING AND LIGHTNENING BOLTS

Aaron in Calgary,Canada - good
I used some clove oil and it is very powerful. It first numbs everything it touches. The pain continued for a few minutes then seemed to subside. I bought it at London drugs by the UofCalgary. I am preparing to make a temporary filling by mixing the clove oil with zinc oxide powder same stuff the dentist use. I will let you know. lol

Apple Cider Vingar & Salt

Rlynne in Minnesota - best
I just poured about 1/4 cup of apple cider vingar in a measuring cup, and added a lot of salt, let the vingar and salt sit together for about 5 minutes then i poured out the vingar and used the salt and applied to my affected area, you might have to keep repeating it!, but it took the pain away.

Tried EVERYTHING on this site...

The Headbanger that wasn't in Redwood City, CA USA - best
...and still only mild results.
I have a broken molar and the nerve is exposed. I was ready to bang my head on the walls. I was getting tense and a monstrous headache from the tooth ache so I found this site at 2am. I armed myself, determined to get some sleep. I gathered an onion, baking soda, a black tea bag, orajel, garlic, vinegar, listerine, etc...
Now, let me start by stating that I recently had a bone fracture so I still had some higher grade ibuprofen (800mg) at home, and that was NOT helping at all.

1) I tried the onion, the garlic... and nothing
2) Salt water, baking soda... nothing
3) The tea bag... seemed to make it worse.
4) Orajel... a joke.
So finally -already desperate- I saw that someone here suggested vitamin C powder with baking soda. I had no vitamin C powder but I did have plenty of Airborne fizzy tablets, so I ended up doing the following:

. One mouth rinse with Apple Vinegar (not too much, it stings)
. Spit
. One rinse with water + baking soda + Airborne tablet
. Spit
. One rinse with Listerine (it stings a LOT since my mouth seemed to be already unhappy with the vinegar)
. Spit
. Repeat a few times.

After the 2nd round of this monstrosity, I was feeling quite better (pain not gone, but tolerable).

I hope it works for you.

-ADDENDUM- Quite marveled I am realizing that as the minutes go by, I feel better and better. Maybe this concoction is slow acting... but it is feeling better. I will now try to get some sleep.

Cheers!

OMG so much pain

Painful brandy in Red Deer, alberta, canada - three stars
Well, I have been going 3 days now with barely any sleep. I have a tooth in the back of my bottom jaw that needs a filling and on top of that I need to have a rootcanal done on another tooth on the same side. I have tried literally everything. I would drink hot water to calm the nerves, I would use ice, oragel, painkillers, salt water, and finally a blck tea bag. After doing all of these I found out that the tea bag worked the best. I didnt have any backing soda lying around in the middle of the night but I'm sure that would have worked just as good.

so for all those who think that the pain will never leave and you will never get sleep again, try using a dry black tea bag. just stick it in between ur gums and ur tooth that hurts and it takes the pain away instantly.

Deborah in Amherst, New York - best
I was up all night with toothache pain part of the tooth had chipped away and I chose to neglect it. Now I'm here in pain so bad that I called paramedics to take me to hospital, and they say dentist will not even be there until 9 am I looked at him like omg He suggested I buy Listerine and soak the tooth. Well I did it, had a burning sensation to it at first then I started to feel relief it was like soaking my mouth for like 45 minutes till I fell asleep. Woke up next day no pain and didn't have any problem for months when I did I had tooth extracted then.

Wanting to die toothache remedy

Nancy in Kansas City, MO - good
I broke off the crown on a bottom molar and it left the nerve exposed. Went to the dentist and was told it needed to be pulled so put a temp. cover on it. I waited because I was not having any problem with it and BAM on a Friday night the pain was soooo severe I wanted to die. I took pain medication and used orajel but neither worked. I was ready to go the emergency room and beg for morphine. I opened this internet site and used the remedy of Baking Soda, peroxide, apple vinegar, and salt (didn't have any sea salt)... swissed it in my mouth over the toothache and instantly the pain was gone. I was in shock and kept waiting for it to come back. It has been close to an hour and so far so good. Then I put a tea bag on the tooth and that helped also. Thanks so much for the help. A toothache is worse than having a baby (but its been 29 years since I had a baby).

Salt water, orajel

Jeff in Oviedo, FL USA - best
I was just about to go to the emergency room because of my tooth ache, I took Three advil and it only numbed the pain for about 45 min, then I just rinsed my mouth with warm salt water and at first I thought it was making it worse but after a couple of minutes the pain went down tremendously and even more after I put a little orajel on it. Hope this helps.
