Acid forming foods such as meats and nuts and cheese are binding, alkaline forming foods such as fruits and vegetables are loosening. Govern your eating habits accordingly.

Beth in Netherlands -To stop my daughter’s diarrhea, I usually give her bananas. She gets constipated when she eats bananas. This really works.

Apples for Diarrhea
Carol in CT -They say that apples can be a remedy for diarrhea. Scrape the apples for babies, or simmer the parings in skim milk.
However, I always ate "bananas" for common relief, and that's what I recommended for my daughter's 11 month old baby, mashed bananas.
